491 Visa applications closed in Tasmania

The State of Tasmania, where Hobart is located, has announced that 491 Visa applications have been restricted to applicants who already have an invitation.
This means that those people interested in migrating to Australia and who meet the requirements to apply for the 491 Temporary Visa in Tasmania will have to wait until the next fiscal year (which will start on July 1, 2022) for the State to open their applications again.
The Federal Government (based in Canberra) is expected to significantly increase the number of places for this and other Qualified Professional visas in Tasmania and other states in the next fiscal year.
