Why is it important to get a good result on the PTE exam?
There are several reasons why a good result on this test is important. We will focus on the aspects related to your process to obtain a Permanent Residency.
Australia requires all citizens of countries that do not have English as their official language to demonstrate proficiency in this language when applying for Permanent Residency. If you choose to demonstrate your level of English by taking the PTE exam, you will need at least 50 points in all bands.
Also, if your level is advanced, you will receive 10 more points in the General Skilled Migration if you get 65 in all bands and 20 more points if you get 79 in all bands.
