Melbourne will not accept more Registration of Interest (ROI) until the next fiscal year
27 April 2022 By RC Migration
The State of Victoria has announced the closure of Expressions of Interest for this fiscal year, affecting people interested in applying for General Skills Migration 190 and 491 visas in this State.
All applications made before Friday, April 29 will be received. After this date, applicants must wait until the next fiscal year which begins on July 1, 2022.
The ROI is the record that the applicant for State nomination makes expressing her interest in living in that State. Each state has its own immigration programs and evaluates ROI based on them. He chooses the best according to his criteria and offers them the State nomination that is necessary to then present the visa to Home Affairs. The nomination attracts 5 points on the 190 visa and 15 points on the 491 visa.
If you plan to submit your expression of interest soon, we recommend doing so as soon as possible.
